Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer. Born on July 16, 1990, in Lagos, Nigeria, he has become one of the most prominent figures in Afrobeat and Afropop on a global scale, thanks to his unique style that blends African rhythms with modern musical influences. Wizkid began his career in 2001, gaining early recognition in the Nigerian music scene.
