collaborates with French superproducer Kungs for this brand-new disco jam. The time is now. Hot on the heels of a string of Beatport-trouncing releases like “Bodyfunk”, Purple Disco Machine has now hooked up with the ever-rising French super-producer Kungs. The two artist’s personal relationship flourished when they met at several festivals across the globe, with “Substitution” embodying that sizzling collaborative disco energy. The song itself gives a nod to the disco-soaked eighties since it samples the iconic 1984 hit ‘Big in Japan’ from anthemic synth-pop act Alphaville, the German synth-pop band formed in Münster in 1982.
