В 2010-м году Перголицци заявила о себе как автор и участвовала в создании хитов для Рианны, Шер, Кристины Агилеры и Backstreet Boys. В мае 2012 журнал Vogue назвал Лауру исполнителем недели. В 2015 году Эль Пи презентовала сингл «Lost on You», который занял первые места в чартах Бельгии, Франции, Греции, Польши и Израиля. В 2018 году вышел студийный альбом «Heart to mouth», который получил золотой сертификат в Польше, а синглы из альбома попали в топ-10 чартов нескольких стран.
