Giorgi Melikishvili, known as Gio Melik , is a Georgian singer and musician born in the city of Telavi (Georgia). From an early age, he showed a strong interest in music, singing in the Patriarchal Choir, and at the age of 15 decided to pursue an artistic career. After serving in the Internal Troops of Georgia, he moved to Moscow, where he began his professional musical journey.
Georgy became a soloist of the famous Georgian ensemble "Orera" , with whom he performed for five years, participated in competitions and festivals, and won high awards. In 2018, he took part in the TV project "The Voice" , where he joined the team of Pelageya . His unique voice and artistry made a strong impression on both the audience and the mentors.
After the show, Georgy continued his active concert career, collaborating with Pelageya, participating in new music projects, including "Main Stage" , under the mentorship of Konstantin Meladze . He is also studying at the GITIS (Russian Institute of Theatre Arts) in the acting department.
Gio's creativity combines classical, soul, jazz and, above all, Georgian folk music. He continues to record new songs and delight audiences across Russia and Georgia.
