Terminaator is an Estonian punk band from Tallinn, Estonia. It was formed in 1987 by Jaagup Kreem at Tallinn Tenth High School (now Nõmme Gymnasium).
The first public performance was in Tallinn 47th High School at a rock band festival. The first studio performance was in 1989. The first songs ‘Charleen’ and ‘Meeletu Maailm’ were recorded in 1991.
The band became widely known in 1992, when they won the festival of young rock bands. They also performed in Latvia, Lithuania and Finland, although they did not have much success outside Estonia.
In 2005, the band's first live album, Go Live 2005, was released. In 2007, in honour of the band's next anniversary, the album ‘20’ was released, which included two new versions of old songs, two new songs, unreleased live recordings and other selected songs.
By 2010, the band unexpectedly presented a new English-language single Whiskey, which became one of the soundtracks for the film Mercenary (2010).
Terminaator band founder Arno Weimer passed away on 13 May 2023.
