Los Yakis—comprised of Dani, Moisés, and Miguel (Yaki)—are three talented musicians from Madrid with a deep-rooted connection to music. Their musical heritage comes from their family; their uncle and father were key members and songwriters for the legendary band Los Calis.
Their story began roughly 15 years ago in Yaki's home studio, where he started creating custom songs for family members, cousins, and close friends. These songs quickly spread like wildfire, especially on the internet, with social media and YouTube playlists playing a significant role in their growing popularity. Unbeknownst to them, they were building a loyal fanbase as their music reached a wider audience.
The overwhelming demand for new songs inspired them to leave their previous jobs, including street vending, and fully dedicate themselves to their passion: creating music. Since then, Los Yakis have continued to rise, performing in packed venues every weekend.
In 2022, they released their debut studio album, #SINYAKISNOHAYFIESTA, under the Ockam Records label, marking a major milestone in their flourishing career.
