Natalia "Nathy" Peluso (Spanish: [ˌnati peˈluso]; born January 12, 1995) is an Argentine, Spanish, and Italian singer and songwriter known for her distinctive blend of hip hop, soul, and world music. Born in Argentina and raised in Alicante, Spain, Peluso began her music career performing cover songs in bars at a young age before pursuing a professional path in music.
After graduating from King Juan Carlos University, she relocated to Barcelona to further her career, releasing her early projects independently, including Esmeralda (2017) and La Sandunguera (2018). Her breakthrough came with the release of Calambre (2020), which earned her the Latin Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album in 2021. Her second studio album, Grasa, was released in 2024.
Peluso is celebrated for her theatrical stage presence and the way she seamlessly fuses various musical genres. Her collaboration with Bizarrap on "Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 36" (2020) became a massive success across Latin America. Additionally, she has worked with internationally acclaimed artists such as Christina Aguilera, Karol G, and C. Tangana, whose duet "Ateo" topped the Spanish charts.
Throughout her career, Peluso has been honored with six Premios Gardel, one Premio Odeón, and five Latin Grammys out of fourteen nominations, cementing her status as a versatile and influential artist.
