Cenk Baş (born October 7 , 1998 in Boyabat), also known by his stage name Semicenk, is a Turkish pop musician. He first became known in 2019 through his participation in O Ses Türkiye. He finally began releasing his first singles at the beginning of 2021.
He has subsequently worked with Turkish pop greats such as Funda Arar, Ziynet Sali and Mustafa Ceceli. The successful collaboration Yana Yana was created with Reynmen. The subsequent song Canın Sağ Olsun became very popular.
In 2023, Semicenk was the most listened to Turkish musician on Spotify.
He also won two prizes at the 49th Altın Kelebek Awards at the end of 2023, once in the “Best Newcomer” category and in the “Best Song” category for the release of his single Pişman Değilim.
In addition to numerous singles, Semicenk has also released three EPs to date.
