Georgiana Maria Lobonc was born on April 9, 1994 in the town of Gerla, Žudez Cluj, in a family with a love for folk music. This is probably where her passion for music came from. Already at the age of four, she started singing and took to the stage for the first time as part of the “Tip Top Mini Top” competition.
After graduating from the School of Arts in Cluj, she was a member of the ensemble “Traditions” from Cluj-Napoca for 12 years. Her first performance on the professional stage was in 2005 at the Folklore Theatre, where she was recognized as a master of musical heritage. In 2010, Georgiana Lobonc released her first folk music album “Mi-o spus frunza fagului”.
