Kian Ducrot is an Irish singer and songwriter. He was born on 30 August 1997 in Cork, Ireland. Ducrot studied classical music as a child, by the time he went to college he had mastered the flute, guitar, ukulele, piano, saxophone and drums. At the age of 18 he participated in the fifth season of the show ‘The Voice UK’ (2016), but was eliminated during the blind auditions. A couple of years after completing his studies in London, Ducrot travelled to Los Angeles, which inspired him to pursue his dream of becoming a pop artist. He dropped out of school and returned to Ireland to realise his dream. In 2020, Ducro released his debut mixtape, Started in College. The following February, he made his major label debut with ‘Not Usually Like This’ on Darkroom/Interscope Records. Fame came to Ducro with the single ‘All for You’, which gained popularity in 2022 on the TikTok label and reached No. 2 on the Irish Singles Chart and No. 19 on the UK Singles Chart. The next single ‘I'll Be Waiting’ reached No. 6 in Ireland and No. 16 in the UK. In December 2022, Ducrot performed a cover of Leonard Cohen's ‘Hallelujah’ and spent the early part of 2023 on tour with Ed Sheeran.
