Kojey Radical (real name Kwadwo Adu Genfi Amponsah) is a British musician, creative director and visual artist. He was born on 4 January 1993 in London.
Radical grew up in Shoreditch and Hoxton, London, in a family of Ghanaian immigrants. He began his creative endeavours as a poet and illustrator while completing a Bachelor of Arts degree at the London College of Fashion.
In 2014, Radical released his first musical project Dear Daisy: Opium. The project touches on themes of love, social media and religion.
In March 2022, Radical released his debut album Reason To Smile. In 2023, he was nominated for Best New Artist at the Brit Awards and at the Ivor Novello Awards for Best Contemporary Song for ‘Payback’.
Radical is also the founder of creative collective PUSHCRAYONS and art director of menswear brand Chelsea Bravo.
