Alexander Andreyevich Dobronravov is a Russian singer, composer and music producer whose career spans more than four decades. He was born on July 30, 1962 in Moscow, on the Old Arbat. His work has become part of the golden fund of Russian pop music, and his songs have become favorites of several generations of listeners. In the 1980s, Alexander joined the Moscow Association of Musical Ensembles (MOMA), where he collaborated with Yevgeny Khavtan and worked on Bravo albums. At the same time, he began writing songs for other artists and performing his own material. During this period, his tape album “Alexander Dobronravov and the group ‘36.6’” appeared. From 1988 to 1992, Alexander was a member of the collective “Merry Guys”, where his songs became winners of the festival “Song of the Year”. His creative activity covered not only Russia, but also the USA, where he lived and worked in the 1990s. After returning to his homeland, he became a producer of the cult band White Eagle. Since 1999 Alexander Dobronravov has been actively engaged in solo work. In 2002 he released his album “She-Wolf”, in which he boldly experimented with the genres of jazz and blues-chanson. His songs “How pleasant are the evenings in Russia”, “Chamomile for Natashka”, “Month of May” and others became nationwide favorite hits. Alexander was also honored with many awards, including the “Chanson of the Year” award.
