IAmChino (real name José Carlos García) is a Cuban-American DJ, producer, composer and performer in Latin American music genres.
He was born on March 29, 1986 in Cuba. Professional musician since the age of 13.
In 2005 he met Pitbull's manager Mike Calderon, who was impressed by IAmChino's skills. After that the musician started to be invited to private events, big parties, festivals and concerts.
In 2011, he officially joined the Pitbull team.
Made his debut in the music industry in 2016 with the song “Ay Mi Dios” in collaboration with Pitbull and Yandel.
Released his first album “Todo El Tiempo” in 2017 with collaborations with Major Lazer, Akon and Farruko.
In 2018, collaborated with Daddy Yankee to release the song “La Rompe Corazones”.
In 2021, co-produced the song “Pepas,” which reached high positions on the Billboard charts in a short time.
In 2024, released his latest studio album “Tu Nombre”.
