The band NLO is a musical collective consisting of two performers - Stepan Rudnitsky and Evgeny Shamov. Since 2017, the band has been releasing author's songs and music videos for them. At the beginning of the creative path, the collective occasionally gave live concerts, then made a two-year break in performances due to the pandemic. The artists returned to active touring in 2023, gaining popularity in the online space.
Initially, the artists focused on club music, later experimented a lot, gradually weaving pop, rap, hip-hop and folk into their tunes. Stepan characterizes this genre as gypsy or folk (Slavic) futurism.
The debut album Biogenesis, which included seven songs, appeared in the discography of the collective in 2019. In the winter of 2021, the conceptual compilation NLO-8K was released. In the summer of 2023, the musicians presented the vinyl "Youth for Tuss". During the creative career of the group released joint works with T-Killah, Anet Say, Kravets, Katya Lel, Leonid Rudenko, Abrikosa and other artists.
Their track "Dancing" for 2023 received about 70 million views on YouTube.
