Alexei Petrukhin is a Russian pop singer, musicals artist and performer of Russian folk songs. Born on February 1, 1984 in Tselinograd (Kazakh SSR, USSR). Graduated from the P. Serebryakov Volgograd Institute of Arts, specializing in “Conductor of folk choir”. After that he moved to Moscow, where he entered the vocal faculty of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, working in parallel at the Musical Theater of National Art under the direction of V. Nazarov, where he performed leading roles. In 2006 he was invited to join the Pyatnitsky Choir as a soloist, where he worked for more than three years. In early 2010, after passing the auditions, Alexei got into the musical “Zorro”. From 2010 to 2015 followed other projects in which Petrukhin participated: the musical “Bremen Musicians”, “Lukomorye”, “Count Orlov”, “Hollywood Diva” (St. Petersburg), the project “Romanovs”. In 2015, Alexei Petrukhin created a musical collective - the group “Gubernia”. In the summer of 2020 Alexey met Yaroslav Sumishevsky and took part in his project “Kvartirnik Online”. The song “Plastinochka”, recorded in duet with Yaroslav Sumishevsky, gained millions of views on the network, and in 2021 for this song the artists received the award “Chanson of the Year”. The wife of the singer was Olesya Valeryevna Petrukhina. From her Alexei has three children: Stanislava (born in 2010), Egor (born in 2014) and Elizaveta (born in 2014).
