Dove Cameron (real name Chloe Celeste Hosterman) was born on January 15, 1996 in Seattle, Washington. At the age of eight, she began acting in community theater at Bainbridge Performing Arts. To continue learning the craft of acting professionally, Cameron moved to Los Angeles at the age of 14. Here she enrolled at Burbank High School, where she successfully sang in the choir. Fame came to Cameron for her roles as Liv and Maddie in the Disney Channel television series Liv and Maddie. For Disney, she also played the roles of Kayla Morgan in the 2014 film, “Springboard of Hope” and Mel in the “Heirs” franchise. Cameron later joined the superhero universe from Marvel, where she voiced Gwen Stacy, one of Spider-Man's girlfriends, in several animated films. She could also be seen in films such as “Good Mourning,” “Nate Almighty,” “Schmigadoon!” and “Puffy,” and in 2023, she played Anastasia Romanova in “World History 2.” In 2023, Cameron released her debut EP Alchemical: Volume 1.
