Alyona Valentinovna Sviridova (née Leonova) is a Russian singer, songwriter, composer, actress and TV presenter. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. Born August 14, 1962 in Kerch.As a child, Alyona moved with her parents to live in the village of Otradnaya, Krasnodar Territory, and then - in Minsk. There she finished school and entered the music and pedagogical department of the Minsk Pedagogical Institute. Even then the girl began to sing, she performed in an ensemble, touring the surrounding cities. After graduating from the institute, she became a concertmaster, and then she was accepted as an actress in the Drama Theater. In 1993, Sviridova was invited to work in Moscow by Bogdan Titomir's director Yuri Ripyakh. In Moscow, Alyona recorded several songs that she composed herself. In the same year, Alyona released her first hits - “Height” and “Just the end of winter”. But the real breakthrough for her was the song “Pink Flamingo”, which topped the charts.In the fall of 2004, Alena Sviridova receives a Russian passport, and a couple of months later she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. Alyona continues to sing on stage, in April 2023 several of her concerts were held. In addition, the singer appeared in the project “Two Stars. Fathers and children” on television. Viewers saw her in this show together with her younger son - Grigory Miroshnichenko.
