Skylar Grey is an American singer, songwriter, music producer, guitarist and pianist. Her real name is Holly Brooke Hafermann. She was born on February 23, 1986 in Mazomanie, Wisconsin, United States. Early in her career, she signed to the Machine Shop Recordings label and performed a duet with Fort Minor on the song “Where'd You Go” under her first name with no last name, Holly Brooke. She later took the alias Skylar Grey. In 2006, she released her debut album Like Blood Like Honey.1 In 2011, she recorded her album Invinsible. Collaborated with Dr. Dre and Eminem on the song “I Need A Doctor”. In 2017, she participated in the recording of the track “Periscope” by Papa Roach. One of the songs - “I know you” - was performed in the movie “Fifty Shades of Grey”. In 2020, she took part in Eminem's album Music to Be Murdered By (in the tracks “Leaving Heaven” and “Black Magic”). In 2021, together with Eminem, Polo G and Mozzy, she released the song “The Last One Standing”, which is the soundtrack to the movie Venom 2 released the same year. Grammy Award nominee (2011).
