Elena Vladimirovna Terleyeva is a Russian pop singer, songwriter and composer. She was born on March 6, 1985 in Surgut. At the age of 15, Terleyeva was noticed by the chairman of the jury of the TV project “Morning Star” at one of the regional music contests and invited her to the contest, where she won as a result. In 2003 she became a participant of the musical reality show “Star Factory - 2”. In the finals Elena took the second place. In 2005 she graduated from the Institute of Contemporary Art, specializing in “Musical Art of Variety. Pop-jazz singing”. The song “Between Me and You” released at the end of 2005, the author of which was Elena herself, was actively rotated on major radio stations. In the same year, the singer received the “Golden Voice of Russia” award from the Moscow government. The song “Sun”, released in 2007, became a hit and the most rotated composition on more than 200 Russian and foreign radio stations. For it Elena received her first Golden Gramophone, made it to the finals of the Song of the Year and New Songs about the Main Things festivals, and was also honored in the Best Female Artist and Best Composition categories at the RMA 2007. In 2008, the artist released the song “Love Me”, which also became a hit, but after that Terleeva suddenly disappeared again. Later it turned out that the singer decided to change genre and take up jazz. Now Elena Terleyeva continues to perform and record new compositions. In 2023, she released the track “On Your Lips”.
