Having set a towering bar for synth-pop in the 21st century, Alison, the magnetic British songwriter, vocalist, performer and producer, is recognised for approaching each iteration of her stellar career from an innovative new position. So Hard So Hot is a sultry acid house-inspired song that pulses between tension and euphoria. The track bottles the ephemeral joy of a dancefloor with its anthemic house beat, disco handclaps, and an exquisitely alluring vocal from Alison. About the track, Alison comments "This is a time where you need to live in the moment and find ways to positively project yourself into the world. It was written during the crazy hot UK summer of 2022 - the intensity of that period is reflected in the making this track". The track is taken from forthcoming album Love Invention which marks Alison’s reawakening as a dancefloor priestess, in an intoxicating showcase of the disco and house influences that have always been at the heart of her musical DNA. So Hard So Hot is accompanied by the first in a series of AI-manipulated video vignettes 'The World of Love Invention' to illustrate the story of the album.
